The School of Science, Engineering & Technology at RMIT Vietnam is associated with the STEM College of RMIT University Melbourne, delivering the College’s award programs and developing research in the field(s) of science, engineering and health. Programs currently taught on the Vietnam campus include the Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics), Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering), Bachelor of Engineering (Robotics & Mechatronics), Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation), Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology), Bachelor of Science (Food Technology and Nutrition, Master of Artificial Intelligence and the Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering) (Electrical and Electronic Engineering).

YOUR ROLE

As a senior RMIT Vietnam staff member in Master of AI, the Program Manager (PM) will provide leadership of the Artificial Intelligence discipline across education, research, engagement and administration. The PM will be expected to be proactive in facilitating education and research initiatives within Vietnam and globally. The PM will work collaboratively across RMIT as a global University, and with RMIT’s industry, government, community and University partners, to achieve partnership-enabled growth.

The PM will have oversight of the newly introduced Master of AI program to RMIT Vietnam and be responsible for the quality, viability, and relevance of the program to RMIT Vietnam. This will involve providing leadership and direction to Course Coordinators teaching in the program and ensuring a coherent and effective program approach to learning and teaching. The PM will facilitate the ongoing development of teaching materials and regularly monitor and improve program performance. The PM will also provide leadership in relation to the active and appropriate engagement of students to ensure engagement and compliance with all relevant University, College and School policies, procedures and protocols and internal and external accreditation requirements. The PM will also monitor demand for the program at RMIT Vietnam and seek to continuously improve the extent to which the program is achieving required academic, student experience, and employment outcomes. The PM will contribute to planning and implementation of any future programs across the Artificial Intelligence discipline, and the Management of such programs once implemented.

The PM will be research active and will foster the growth of a PhD cohort and lead research initiatives within the fields of Artificial Intelligence, supported by the School of Science, Engineering & Technology and STEM College. The PM will be active in building University, Industry, Government and Community partnerships.

The PM will develop and deliver education courses in disciplines related to Artificial Intelligence within the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The PM will be core to the long-term growth of the School. Terms are renewable at two-year intervals subject to meeting agreed performance objectives.
